FAIRFAX, Va., July 10 (UPI) -- The U.S. Army has modified two contracts with Argon ST Inc. to continue its Operational Test-Tactical Engagement System Communication Upgrade program support.

U.S. company Argon ST, the OT-TES Communication Upgrade lead system integrator, was awarded the contract modifications from the Army's Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation.

As part of the approximately $5.3 million in contract modifications, Argon ST will continue its support for pre-production activities on the OT-TES Communication Upgrade, the Army's "core operational test instrumentation communication and engagement system modernization program," a news release said.

"OT-TES Communications Upgrade is a critical test and training range instrumentation project for the U.S. Army and an essential network communications program for Argon … with continued execution and implementation we are optimistic that this program will stand out as a model for how Argon's value proposition as an innovative, dependable and long term partner benefits our customers and our warfighters," Kerry Rowe, Argon ST president and chief operating officer, said in a statement.
