NEW YORK, June 30 (UPI) -- The U.S. Air Forces in Europe awarded L-3 Communications a follow-on contract to provide engineering, technical and intelligence support services.
U.S. company L-3 says its MPRI division was awarded a five-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract from the U.S. Air Forces in Europe, the U.S. Air Force component of U.S. European Command.
The contract, worth $375 million if all options are exercised, is for L-3 to provide advisory and assistance services to Air Forces Europe. Officials say the A&AS work includes engineering and technical services along with intelligence analysis and evaluation support.
"After a five-year incumbency, we look forward to L-3's continued participation in supporting our military customers in the European theater," Jim Jackson, MPRI International Group senior vice president, said in a statement.
