ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 23 (UPI) -- The U.S. Defense Department has contracted VSE Corp. for engineering and logistics services at the Tobyhanna and Red River Army Depots.
U.S. company VSE says its Engineering and Logistics Division was contracted to provide the Pennsylvania-based Tobyhanna Army Depot with S-280 and S-250 equipment shelter refurbishment services.
Officials say VSE was also awarded a contract to support the repair of 68 of the Texas-based Red River Army Depot's 5,000-gallon fuel tankers. The two Defense Department contracts total $12 million.
"VSE looks forward to continue working with the U.S. Army and teammates to support these important readiness tasks," Thomas Dacus, VSE Federal Group president, said in a statement.
"Our team has a successful record in these fields of endeavors and we stand behind our work with a legacy of integrity, agility and value."
