LANCASTER, Pa., June 10 (UPI) -- Herley Industries Inc. has been contracted to produce its integrated microwave assembly technology to support U.S. Navy electronic attack aircraft.

Pennsylvania-based Herley was awarded a follow-on contract from an unnamed U.S. prime contractor. Under the approximately $1.2 million deal, Herley will support the Navy's electronic attack aircraft with its complex integrated microwave assemblies.

The order follows an award in March for its CTI subsidiary and a previous contract for its New England division both for the delivery of integrated microwave assemblies.

"Herley has a long history of producing various complex integrated microwave assemblies," Myron Levy, Herley chairman and chief executive officer, said in a statement.

"We are currently providing precision microwave assemblies for use on a U.S. Navy's electronic attack aircraft at Herley Lancaster, as well as at our Herley New England division and Herley CTI in New Jersey."
