ManTech names new defense-unit head

FAIRFAX, Va., March 19 (UPI) -- U.S. company ManTech International Corp. announced the appointment of a new president for its Defense Systems Group.

Louis Addeo will become the president of the Defense Systems Group, ManTech's largest business unit and developer of mission-critical solutions for the U.S. Department of Defense, said George Pedersen, ManTech chairman and chief executive.

Addeo, the former president of AT&T Government Solutions, will take control of ManTech's Defense Systems Group from retired U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Dave Bryan, who will become the company's corporate executive vice president.

"Lou has deep business knowledge and extensive experience in information technology, professional services and in supporting federal government customers including the Army, Navy, intelligence community, Department of Homeland Security and the State Department," Pedersen said in a statement.
