ARLINGTON, Va., March 19 (UPI) -- U.S. organization Aerospace Industries Association announced it has partnered with the Internet Security Alliance to launch a cybersecurity information center.

AIA, the trade association representing aerospace and defense manufacturers, has teamed with the Internet Security Alliance in a move to help companies combat the growing threat of cyberattacks.

Officials said the joint cyber-center team would provide tools to help identify cyber threats for aerospace and defense companies.

"Cybersecurity is one of the most pressing issues facing industry today," Marion Blakey, AIA president and chief executive, said in a statement.

"Our relationship with ISA is particularly valuable for suppliers, providing critical resources to defend against increasingly malicious cyber activity."
