Click Commerce to support FASI-G program

CHICAGO, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Lockheed Martin has selected Click Commerce Inc. for the company to support a vehicle sustainment contract Lockheed Martin has with the U.S. military.

The U.S. Defense Logistics Agency contracted Lockheed Martin for work on the Fleet Automotive Support Initiative-Global program developed to help sustain the U.S. military's ground vehicle fleet.

Chicago-based Click Commerce says its Parts Planning software solution will be used by Lockheed Martin to support work on the FASI-G program.

Officials say the Parts Planning software will be used to support inventory management and maintain logistics for a potential of 10,000 parts from more than 350 contractors.

"We are pleased that Click Commerce's optimization and planning solution is playing a strategic role in managing performance-based logistics contracts for Lockheed Martin and other industry leaders," David Barboro, Click Commerce Service Network Solutions division general manager, said in a statement.
