
SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- The U.S. Marine Corps has contracted URS Corp. for the company to provide equipment sustainment support services.
U.S. company URS was awarded the contract from the Marine Corps Systems Command's Program Office for Engineer Systems.
Under the $43 million award, URS will support the Mobility and Counter-mobility, Construction and Material Handling Equipment and Engineer Support Equipment programs for the Marine Corps, among others with logistical and acquisition services.
"We are proud to have been selected to support the U.S. Marine Corps in this critical effort to outfit our service men and women with the systems and equipment necessary to complete their missions," Randall Wotring, URS EG&G division president, said in a statement.
