Teen solves centuries-old math problem
ANDOVER, Mass., Jan. 23 (UPI) -- The U.S. Homeland Security Department has contracted Dynamics Research Corp. for the company to provide training support services.
Massachusetts-based information technology services provider DRC was awarded the contract from the Homeland Security Department's Office of Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine. As part of the $11.5 million deal, DRC will develop Web-based training programs to support CBP Air and Marine operations.
DRC will be expected to work with officials from the CBP Air and Marine to support the National Air Training Center's requirements including flight and tactical scenario training, among other needs.
"As the preferred provider of Web-based training support for CBP Air and Marine's flight training programs, DRC's nine years of experience will aid the organization in their efforts to more effectively train their pilots, increase performance and improve business processes," James Regan, DRC chairman, president and chief executive officer, said in a statement.
"This contract allows DRC to continue to apply our expertise to the National Air Training Center's training program."
