DENVER, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- U.S. company XeDAR Corp. announced a partnership with IDV Solutions to develop a visual representation of data for defense and homeland security applications.

As part of the strategic partnership with Michigan-based IDV, XeDAR says it plans to integrate its more than 16 million critical infrastructure, energy leasing, and land ownership records, among others, with IDV's Visual Fusion Suite to create an Internet-based secured visual representation of the data.

Officials say IDV's Visual Fusion Suite will create a user-friendly and accessible application for data analysis in the defense, intelligence and homeland security communities for national security, land development and natural resources applications.

"We believe that visual representation of data is the critical component in providing useful and reliable operational analyses to our customers," Charles Killpack, XeDAR Geospatial Division chief executive officer, said in a statement.

"IDV provides the platform required to build these practical analyses."
