ANDOVER, Mass., Dec. 31 (UPI) -- The U.S. Homeland Security Department has contracted Dynamics Research Corp. to support the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency.
Massachusetts-based DRC says its Kadix Systems company was awarded two task orders from the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Office of the Chief Information Officer.
Under the contract's combined value of $11.5 million, Kadix will supply program management solutions and information technology support as part of the DHS Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for the Leading Edge Solutions program.
Officials say the first contract, worth $7.4 million, is for Kadix to support the Office of the Chief Information Officer's Systems Development Division. The second award is for IT support at the Office of the Chief Information Officer's Program Executive Office.
"DRC has a successful track record of providing exceptional program management support for many federal agencies, including U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement," Jim Regan, DRC chairman and chief executive officer, said in a statement.
"We will employ our expert resources and management processes to ensure that Homeland Security Department gains maximum benefit from its IT investments and help Immigration and Customs Enforcement adapt to a rapidly changing environment."
