
FREMONT, Calif., Dec. 9 (UPI) -- U.S. company dB Control announced the release of a next-generation aircraft threats countermeasure technology.
dB Control announced the launch of four new electronic countermeasure, or ECM, transmitters designed to protect aircraft at up to 60,000 feet in the air.
Officials say the new ECM systems are a High-Band Transmitter, High-Band CW Transmitter, Dual High-Band Transmitter and Single Low-Band Transmitter.
"dB Control understands stringent quality requirements, including zero tolerance for failure," Meppalli Shandas, vice president of technology and business development, said in a statement.
"Our ECM transmitters have demonstrated exceptional reliability in the field, and we are currently shipping quantities to a military customer."
