FALLS CHURCH, Va., Dec. 8 (UPI) -- The U.S. Army has contracted DynCorp International to support military vehicle maintenance and other logistics support.

U.S. company DynCorp was awarded a $24.6 million contract as part of the Army's Contract Field Teams program. As part of the deal, DynCorp will provide the Letterkenny Army Depot in Pennsylvania with maintenance and repair services.

The contract, worth $49 million if all options are exercised, is for DynCorp to repair Letterkenny's Humvees, mine resistant ambush protected vehicles and also provide service work on power generator systems.

"We are pleased to be awarded another task order under the new Contract Field Teams vehicle," William Ballhaus, DynCorp International chief executive officer, said in a statement.

"DynCorp International has performed to the very high Contract Field Teams standards for 60 years worldwide. We look forward to continuing to provide outstanding service to all branches of the United States military under this contract."
