TEWKSBURY, Mass., Nov. 6 (UPI) -- The U.S. Army has modified a contract with Raytheon Co. for additional maintenance services in support of the Expeditionary Targeting and Surveillance System.
U.S. company Raytheon's Integrated Defense Systems unit received a $21 million contract modification to provide the Base Expeditionary Targeting and Surveillance System-Combined program with additional sustainment and other maintenance and training support services.
"This additional maintenance and training support will further improve its capability as a multifunctional battlefield system, providing enhanced situational awareness to the war fighter," Pete Franklin, Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems vice president, national and theater security programs, said in a statement.
Raytheon officials say work on the Base Expeditionary Targeting and Surveillance System program will be done in the company's Massachusetts facilities and in Alabama.
