Eid Passport launches new access system

PORTLAND, Ore., Nov. 4 (UPI) -- Oregon-based Eid Passport Inc. announced the launch of a new program that offers enhanced perimeter security at military installations.

Eid Passport has released the RAPID-Zone Program that officials say strengthens security at access points to military installations and other official government facilities. The customizable, electronically controlled access system works with the company's RAPIDGate Program to approve entry of vendors and officials.

"The RAPID-Zone Program offers military installations and government facilities another layer of security to electronically manage access with customizable access privileges to meet the varying degree of access needs," Steve Larson, Eid Passport chief executive officer, said in a statement.
