DynCorp to support operations in Qatar

FALLS CHURCH, Va., Sept. 23 (UPI) -- DynCorp International has received a contract from the U.S. Air Force for support of base operations in Qatar.

The two-year, $26.1 million task order, under the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program III, is for U.S. company DynCorp to provide maintenance and support services at the Air Force's Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.

DynCorp, which has received several defense contracts for construction projects to support Afghanistan National Army operations, among other major contracts for work in the Middle East, will support the Al Udeid Air Base with maintenance and temporary construction services as needed.

The AFCAP III contract vehicle is open for the awarding of task orders for a 10-year period.
