Point Blank elects new chairman

POMPANO BEACH, Fla., Aug. 29 (UPI) -- Florida-based body armor developer Point Blank Solutions Inc. has named a new chairman of the company's board of directors.

Point Blank Solutions announced that James Henderson has been elected chairman of the board of directors. Henderson is a a former executive at defense companies ECC International, Aydin Corp. and Unisys Corp.

Point Blank Solutions is a designer and manufacturer of body armor systems which have been deployed with the U.S. military in Iraq and Afghanistan as part of a Defense Department effort to add protections to soldiers while countering militant networks. The company also supports government and law enforcement agencies with armor technologies.
