"With the delivery of the DGS-2 system to Beale, the Air Force DCGS 10.2 truly moves closer to the sharing of real-time intelligence data to fight the war on terror," Anthony DiFurio, Raytheon Intelligence and Information Systems director of multi-intelligence systems, said in a statement.

"The DCGS 10.2 upgrade will provide continuous on-demand intelligence brokering to enable U.S. and coalition forces to get the information they need to take action and influence events in a significantly shorter amount of time."

The DCGS technology is an effort to establish network-centric communication technology enabling collaborative intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance data analysis for Air Force operations around the world.
