DENVER, June 3 (UPI) -- The U.S. Air Force has forged a partnership with Jones International University to offer airmen with an associate degree a chance to earn a bachelors degree.

Jones International University, named on a list of the Top 30 military universities by Military Advanced Education magazine, will partner with the Air Force on their Air University Associate-to-Baccalaureate Cooperative program.

Officials say the AU-ABC program enables airmen who have earned an associate in applied science the chance to earn either a bachelor of arts in business communication or a bachelor of business administration.

"We're proud to bring top-quality education to airmen through this outstanding Air Force program," Glenn Jones, JIU chancellor, said in a statement.

"Airmen coming to JIU from AU-ABC have the advanced skills and fine-tuned discipline that make them perfect candidates for earning business degrees through JIU, and for taking advantage of our career planning and management resources to achieve their desired career outcomes."
