
WASHINGTON, May 19 (UPI) -- Raytheon Co. has hired a former U.S. Navy captain to become vice president of the company's U.S. business development organization's Navy programs.
Raytheon officials announced the appointment of Frank Brown as the new vice president of Navy programs. With the appointment to Raytheon's U.S. business development organization's Navy programs, Brown will head up pursuing new business growth opportunities with the U.S. Navy.
Brown, a 24-year veteran of the U.S. Navy, also will be responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction with Raytheon's current Navy clientele. Brown comes from a background working on the Navy's joint standoff weapons program, among other advanced missile systems.
Brown originally worked for the Hughes Aircraft Co. before it merged with Raytheon in 1997.
