WALTHAM, Mass., May 1 (UPI) -- The U.S. Army says it has authorized NetCracker Technology's Enterprise Infrastructure Management solution to operate on Army networks.

Massachusetts-based NetCracker received the Army network authorization after passing through Army IACORA Office's six-month authority to operate certification process. With the authorization, NetCracker's EIM inventory, reconciliation, work-flow information technology management solution, is now capable of operating at the unclassified but sensitive level on Army networks.

NetCracker says its EIM management technology will enable the Army and Army National Guard with strategic office solutions with greater access to the availability and viability of mission-critical applications among other IT management needs.

"We are proud to be recognized by the U.S. Army and Army National Guard for this ground-breaking project that merges the power of IT and Telecom networks," Andrew Feinberg, NetCracker Technology president and chief executive officer, said in a statement. "We look forward to the opportunity to support future Army enterprise infrastructure management needs and deployments."
