C3 announces launch into private security

ATLANTA, March 19 (UPI) -- Georgia-based Aspen Global Corp. says its subsidiary, C3 Defense Inc., announced plans to enter into the private military security services market.

Officials say C3 Defense has been approved for all the required certifications for an announced company launch into the multibillion-dollar private military security services market.

"C3 Defense recognizes the private military security market as one with great potential in both revenue and the ability to serve its country proudly," David Beck, Aspen Global president, said in a statement. "The company also recognizes it has a great responsibility in providing these services while protecting the sanctity of human life."

C3 Defense says in plans to offer services including the training of local forces, armed site security and war-zone security needs along with surveillance, armed support and air support.

"C3 Defense is implanting an internal training program to certify the necessary personnel as Private Security Specialists," Beck said. "C3 Defense believes high quality and recurring training will help all private security specialists perform their duties at the best of the ability while being conscientious of the humanitarian aspects of their position."
