"We continue to work closely with EDO on this critical U.S. government contract," Deepak Chopra, OSI Systems president and chief executive officer, said in a statement. "This contract award comes after recently being honored by EDO as their outstanding supplier for electronic manufacturing services in 2007."

The U.S. Department of Defense announced in December an $86.5 million contract order for 1,136 Crew 2.1 vehicle-mounted electronic jammers from EDO. Officials say the delivery for the order is April 2008.
