BERLIN, March 21 (UPI) -- German Internet technology specialists have found that an Islamist terrorist video was produced in Germany.

Pan Amp said that a video released earlier this month which showed masked men threatening Germany and Austria to pull out their troops from Afghanistan or face terror attacks was likely produced and surely launched from a server based in Erfurt, eastern Germany.

The video had a computer-animated background with the heads of German politicians flying by, and icons of Germany's economy.

The Global Islamic Media Front, an Islamist propaganda group, made the final edits to the video and enhanced it with animations and Turkish subtitles, Pan Amp said, according to German online daily Netzeitung.

In 2005, Pan Amp first discovered al-Qaida material on the Internet server based in Erfurt, and relayed all data it had to Germany's security agencies.
