Baseball team tempts fans for terror evac.

CINCINNATI, Sept. 18 (UPI) -- A U.S. Major League Baseball team has offered free tickets to fans willing to participate in a terror exercise at their ballpark.

The Cincinnati Reds are holding an exercise on Sept. 30 to simulate a full-scale terrorist attack on their home stadium, the Great American Ball Park, the Cincinnati Business Journal reported Sept. 13. The exercise will be carried out by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Southwestern Ohio, Southeastern Indiana and Northern Kentucky Regional Collaborative, the report said.

"The volunteers are being asked to play fans who will be evacuated from the park after the simulated attack. For that, each will receive a voucher for two tickets to a game during the 2007 season, as well as promotional items," the newspaper said, citing the Reds' Rap e-mail news.
