--15 dead and at least 30 wounded in blast in Colombia-- BOGOTA, Feb. 14 (UPI) - At least 15 dead and some 30 wounded left Friday a blast in Neiva city in southern Colombia, as policemen were searching a house where they believed that a terrorist group was plotting to assassinate president Alvaro Uribe.

The house, packed with explosives, was located near the city's airport were Uribe, with his full government team, was expected to land Saturday.

The residence was empty at the time of the blast and security officials are investigating if it was detonated by remote control.

The explosion left a massive crater, and the dead included a six year old girl and nine police officers.

Rescue teams are still searching among the rubble for survivors.
