Russia projects 10B barrels of oil per day

GENEVA, Switzerland, Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Russian crude oil production is expected to reach 10 million barrels per day in 2 to 3 years, an influential petroleum industry executive predicted Wednesday. Such an output would put the former communist nation on par with Saudi Arabia -- currently the world's top oil power in terms of production capacity. A U.S. agency on Wednesday had estimated that Russian oil production would reach 10.4 million barrels per day by 2025.
