Brazil's Lula leads while Serra attacks

SAO PAULO, Oct. 14 (UPI) -- Consecutive voters' polls showed Brazil's left-wing candidate with a sizable lead over his government-backed rival leading up to the Oct. 27 elections, according to results released Monday. Left-wing Worker's Party candidate Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has roughly twice and many perspective votes as government-backed candidate Jose Serra.
