Swedish PM headed for election victory

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Sept. 15 (UPI) -- Sweden's main center-right opposition party has conceded defeat to Prime Minister Goeran Persson's Social Democrats and their allies in Sunday's general election. With nearly 95 percent of the vote counted, the Social Democrats, along with the ex-Communist Party of the Left and the Greens have captured 53.2 percent, and the center-right has 43.6 percent.
