Iraq calls for Kuwait to turn a new page

BAGDAD, Iraq, Aug. 1 (UPI) -- Iraq marked the 12th anniversary of its invasion of Kuwait by urging its oil-rich neighbor Thursday to open a new page in good-neighborly relations. Wednesday Kuwaiti Information Minister Ahmad Fahd Ahmad al-Sabah said he had no confidence in Iraq's intentions and had no guarantees it would not invade Kuwait again.
