Rio offers reward for info on drug lord

RIO DE JANEIRO, June 12 (UPI) -- Officials in Rio de Janeiro announced Wednesday that they are offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the drug lord who allegedly ordered the execution of a TV journalist. Witnesses said Elias Maluco ordered the torturing and killing of Globo TV's Tim Lopez, who was secretly recording footage of orgiastic festivities known locally as "Funk Balls."
