WASHINGTON, May 6 (UPI) -- President George W. Bush welcomed Myanmar's decision Monday to release pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi, but the State Department said this was not enough to make the United States reconsider its sanctions against the country. Suu Kyi was released earlier Monday after spending almost 15 years under house arrest.
