Lebanon, Iraq sign free-trade accord

BEIRUT, Lebanon, April 6 (UPI) -- Lebanon and Iraq signed an agreement Saturday to expand trade and economic ties. Signed by Lebanese Prime Minister Rafic Hariri and the visiting Iraqi Vice President Taha Yassin Ramadan in Beirut, the pact calls for free trade between the two countries. Iraq has recently signed similar pacts with Jordan, Egypt, Turkey and Syria as well.
