Bin Laden's successor may be hit

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, Dec. 4 (UPI) -- Accused terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden's top deputy, Egyptian Ayman al-Zawahiri, was injured and possibly killed Monday in a U.S. air strike near Tora Bora, the Afghan military chief of nearby Jalalabad claimed Tuesday. There is as yet no independent confirmation of the report, noted PPI, an independent news agency based in Islamabad.
