QUETTA, Pakistan, Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Increasingly isolated in his former Pashtun stronghold of Kandahar, Taliban leader Mullah Mohammed Omar was forced Saturday to share power with his opponents. Tribal leaders in the bordering Pakistani town of Chaman said that a tribal council in Kandahar forced the reclusive Taliban leader to appoint a new commander and a new governor for the southern Afghan province.
