NEW DELHI, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- An Indian shop owner remained in custody Friday after he was arrested for selling video compact discs containing propaganda material allegedly produced by Osama bin Laden's al Qaida network.
Police raided the shop in the city of Tezpur, sized the discs and arrested its owner. Authorities identified the owner as Shaidul Sheikh.
"At least two video CDs titled 'Path to Paradise' containing images and provocative speeches by bin Laden were seized," a police official said.
Police said Sheikh had already sold nine CDs in the past fortnight with the front cover bearing the words: "Based on the terrifying true story behind the World Trade Center bombing."
