Saipem, a subsidiary of Italian energy company Eni, said it secured a contract to build a floating production unit for the Jangkrik development off the coast of Indonesia. The unit will have the capacity to treat 450 million cubic feet of natural gas per day.
Saipem said it would build the unit at its construction centers in Indonesia and South Korea. It will be delivered to the production site in 34 months.
In the Republic of Congo, the company said it would work on sub-sea structures for production facilities tied to the Moho project, which operator Chevron said will produce 140,000 barrels of oil by 2017.
