To help homeowners save money and meet the guidelines set by the Environmental Protection Agency for energy efficiency, Triple Crown Corp. in Pennsylvania has started a Living Green program.
Living Green's environmentally friendly initiatives reduce pollution during the building process.
Living Green uses low emittance window glaze to save energy and new HVAC technology and plumbing equipment to reduce waste. The carpet padding is made from recycled plastic and the interior doors are made of recycled wood products.
The construction site is managed in an environmentally friendly manner and sustainable wood products are used in the construction.
