MOSCOW, Oct. 11 (UPI) -- Russian energy company Gazprom Neft said it expects to get 2.1 million barrels of oil in the first stage of operations at a Siberian field in 2017.

The company said annual production could then increase under further development plans at the Kuyumbinskoye oil and gas field in the Krasnoyarsk region.

"From 2010, active operational infrastructure setup and preparation of hydrocarbon reserves for production have been performed at the Kuyumbinskoye field," Gazprom Neft said.

The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries said in its latest monthly market report Russia, the Sudans, Columbia, the United States and Canada are expected to be the main drivers of oil-production growth among members of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development
