WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif., March 2 (UPI) -- Matchmaking app Tinder released Tinder Plus, its premium service, on Monday, and it costs more for users over age 30.

For users under 30, Tinder Plus costs $9.99 per month. For users over 30, the price is $19.99 per month.

"Lots of products offer differentiated price tiers by age, like Spotify does for students, for example," Tinder's vice president of corporate communications and branding, Rosette Pambakian, told Mashable. "Tinder is no different; during our testing we've learned, not surprisingly, that younger users are just as excited about TinderPlus, but are more budget constrained, and need a lower price to pull the trigger."

The premium features include the ability to undo a left swipe, which is how users express disinterest in someone, and the ability of users to change their location to look at possible matches in other cities.
