Those transactions are being used to buy prepaid cards, electronics and even groceries.

In some cases, those charges have been tied to batches of cards within a specific ZIP code.

Earlier this month the home improvement company announced the confirmed the breach.

Last week the company announced how many cards were compromised.

Home Depot said they will be offering free credit monitoring to anyone who shopped either in the store --either in the U.S. or Canada from April 2014 on.
