NORTHFIELD, Ill., Sept. 2 (UPI) -- Kraft foods has issued a voluntarily recall on more than 7,500 cases of select varieties of regular Kraft American Singles Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product.

The Food and Drug Administration said the company is recalling the product because an ingredient used in the product was not stored in accordance by the company's standards. They also said while unlikely, this could result in early spoilage or food borne illness.

The affected products are limited to four kinds, with "Best When Used By" dates of February 20, 2015, and February 21, 2015.

The products were sold throughout the United States.

Kraft said they have gotten no consumer complaints from this recall.

The list of included products includes:

12 oz Kraft American Singles (16 slices), 16 oz. Kraft American Singles (24 slices), 16 oz Kraft American Singles (24 slices) (12 count case) and 64 oz (4 lb) Kraft American Singles (4x24 slice).

Consumers can find the "Best When Used By" dates on the bottom of the package.

If buyers have any of these products, they should not be eaten. Kraft has asked purchasers to return them to the store where purchased for an exchange or full refund.
