Natural gas picked up a dime, settling at $4.61 per million British thermal units.

The price for a gallon of gasoline picked up 3 cents to hit $2.79.

Heating oil prices added less than a penny to settle at $3.09 per gallon.

At the pump, the national average price for a gallon of unleaded rose from Thursday's $3.436 per gallon to $3.448, the AAA Daily Fuel Gauge Report said.
