WASHINGTON, Jan. 30 (UPI) -- West Marine Products Inc. of Watsonville, Calif., is recalling about 4,600 folding bicycles with frames that can break, U.S. regulators said Thursday.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission said consumers should stop using the Jetty Express 2 and Port Runner 2 folding bicycles, designed for marinas and docks.

The Jetty Express is blue and white and the Port Runner has a red frame.

The company has received three reports of bicycle frames breaking. One incident resulted bruises and scrapes to a rider.

The bicycles were sold from March 2010 to July 2013 for between $300 and $400.

Consumers were advised to contact West Marine for a free replacement.

Consumers can call 800-262-8464 for information.
