The wooden chairs were imported from China and sold exclusively by Hobby Lobby Stores Inc., of Oklahoma City, Okla., from March 2013 through August 2013 for about $180.
The chairs are straight-backed wooden chairs with a black and white chevron pattern on the seat cushion.
The company has received one report of a chair collapsing, the watchdog agency said in a notice released Thursday.
Consumers were advised to return the chairs to Hobby Lobby. Consumers with a receipt will receive a full refund. Consumers without a receipt will be given store credit.
