DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Russia's state-owned arms exporter said Saturday it has new orders worth $5 billion from Arabian Gulf nations for helicopters.

A Rosoboronexport representative made the announcement at the Dubai Air Show in the United Arab Emirates.

The representative said outstanding orders as of Nov. 1 exceeded $38 billion for Russia's state arms exporter for military-related equipment.

During the five-day biannual air show, the Russian delegation held talks with the UAE, Saudi Arabia, India, Jordan and Algeria, RIA Novosti reported.
