Crude oil hovers near $93

NEW YORK, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Crude oil hovered just above $93 per barrel Wednesday morning with gains kept in check as traders anticipated an inventory buildup for the week.

The Energy Information Administration's weekly stockpile report was scheduled for an afternoon release.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange, West Texas Intermediate, light, sweet crude added 23 cents to $93.27 per barrel. Reformulated gasoline gained 3.02 cents to reach $2.6166 a gallon.

Home heating oil added 2.9 cents to hit $2.8822 a gallon.

Natural gas gained 3 cents to $3.64 per million British thermal units.

At the pump, the national average price of unleaded gasoline rose to $3.186 per gallon, up from Tuesday's $3.179, the AAA Daily Fuel Gauge Report said.
