WASHINGTON, Aug. 9 (UPI) -- Holgate Toy Division of Pepperell, Mass., recalled about 5,000 Playmat toy sets due to a choking hazard, a watchdog agency said.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission said the Playmat Set toys included a 24-inch by 30-inch cotton canvas mat and four toy wooden vehicles.

The wheels on the vehicles can detach, posing a hazard to small children, the commission said in a release Thursday.

The company is a division of Pepperell Braiding Co. Inc.

The toys sets were sold exclusively at Wegmans Stores from October 2012 through June 2013 for about $25.

Consumers were advised to take the toys away from children and return them to Wegmans for a full refund. The toys can also be returned to Holgate Toys for a refund.

Consumers can call 855-344-7488 for information.
