Crude oil heads higher

NEW YORK, July 23 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices topped $107 per barrel Tuesday on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

West Texas Intermediate crude oil added 36 cents to $107.30 per barrel. Reformulated blendstock gasoline gained 0.81 cents to $3.0632 per gallon. Home heating oil was at $3.0758 per gallon, up 0.94 cents.

Natural gas gained 5.8 cents to $3.735 per million British thermal units.

At the pump, the national average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline was $3.666 Tuesday, down from Monday's $3.671, the AAA Fuel Gauge report said.
