Crude oil slips back under $93

NEW YORK, May 31 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices slid under $93 per barrel Friday morning on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

West Texas Intermediate crude in New York shed 99 cents to $92.60 per barrel. Reformulated blendstock gasoline dropped 1.9 cents to $2.789 per gallon. Heating oil lost 2.35 cents to reach $2.8163 per gallon. Natural gas prices lost 0.2 cents $4.028 per million British thermal units.

At the pump, the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $3.612 Friday, down from Thursday's $3.619, the AAA Fuel Gauge Report said.
